How often do you have a bias towards action?

Today is November 4 and the Navigate the Chaos question to consider is “How often do you have a bias towards action?”

People who navigate the chaos understand they have their ability to take action completely within their control.

Far too often people hesitate to take action.

People will complain. They will blame others. They will make one reason after another not to take action. They too often succumb to fear; either the fear of failure or the fear of success.

There are many reasons people choose not to take action.

For people like actor Will Smith, however, his ability to take action, exert effort, and work harder than the next person helps him navigate the chaos.

In an interview with Tavis Smiley Smith defined his ability to have a bias towards action as: “You might have more talent than me, you might be smarter than me, you might be sexier than me, you might be all of those things—you got it on me in nine categories. But if we get on the treadmill together you’re getting off first, or I’m going to die. It’s really that simple. You are not going to outwork me."
